The Coffee Pot...yes, it gets its own page!
This is critical information, in my opinion. I LOVE my coffee pot but it tends to baffle non-Brigham types. I'll lend a few tips.
CAUTION...The machine sounds like an airplane taking off when it starts. Nothing is wrong!
- Pull the sucker out a little so that you can flip up the door on the top rear to add water. Because I'm lazy, I just drag the sink hose right on over to it and fill away. Add the amount of water you'd like. All water will be consumed when making the coffee regardless of how many cups you set the maker to in subsequent steps.
- Lift the front, top, clear, cover to add beans. Just pour them on in. The machine will grind beans appropriate for the # of cups selected and strength desired. It is smart! Coffee is stored in the second drawer.
- There is a small push button on the left hand side of the machine that will allow the door that houses the filter to swing open. Lift the roundish, plastic cover and place a filter in there. Replace the cover and close the unit up.
- There is a dial on the front of the pot that allows you to select how many cups you want. There is a button that allows you to select the strength you enjoy. You can program the pot to brew in the morning. Feel free to adjust this to meet your needs. It is currently set for 6:30 AM. Just press the program button and a green light will come on telling you that it is good to go.
- Should you wish to brew from ground beans, simply put them in the filter and press the grind off button on the front.
